Toni has owned & operated Johnson Photography since 1982. She holds the prestigious Master of Photography, Photographic Craftsman and Master Artist degrees from the Professional Photographers of America. She was  named a CPP (Certified Professional Photographer) having passed an extensive written test of her photographic knowledge and a review of her photography. 

Toni is an award winning artist.   Toni was twice named a Diamond Photographer of the year in the PPA International Print Competition. Toni has been named as a Top 10 photographer in Iowa several times as well as named 2020 Top Iowa Master Photographer of the Year.  And she has had images published in the PPA loan  books & Professional Photographer Magazine.

The studio is now entering an on location model so that she can have more time for travel and teaching but we are still able to do family, children, senior portraits and headshots for businesses as well as volume sports and dance for your groups. We have Kept all the backgrounds and lights we need to  do studio portraits in your home or business or at a studio rental place in downtown Des Moines or outside and location shoots.

Toni Marie is also widely recognized for her art prints that are available for purchase to decorate your home. 

Toni is also an approved PPA juror available to judge state image competitions around the country where she can also give programs on Emotion and Creativity, Painting in Photoshop, Print Competition and Volume Photography.
